Audemars Piguet Neo Frame revives the jumping hour display

The Neo Frame Jumping Hour gives Audemars Piguet a new way to display time. An hour numeral changes in a single step every 60 minutes, with a second aperture completing the reading on a black sapphire dial.
Art Deco lines, modern construction
The design looks back to the manufacture’s 1929 pre-model 1271. Vertical gadroons and streamlined lugs frame a case combining pink gold and sapphire, paired with a textured calfskin strap.
Calibre 7122 is AP’s first selfwinding jumping hour movement and has a 52-hour power reserve. The release adds a distinctive rectangular silhouette to the brand’s current line-up, with a historical complication presented through contemporary materials and construction.
