Richard Mille RM 41-01 Soccer tracks match time and goals mechanically
The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer turns a football match into a mechanical display. Alongside a hand-wound tourbillon and flyback chronograph, Richard Mille adds a match-phase indicator and separate counters for the home and visiting teams.
More than elapsed minutes
Resetting the chronograph advances the match indicator through the stages of play. Dedicated pushers move the goal counters, allowing scores to be recorded on the dial. Richard Mille says the 650-component calibre took five years to develop.
Two editions are limited to 30 pieces each: red carmin Basalt TPT and dark blue Quartz TPT. The stated power reserve is around 70 hours with the chronograph stopped. It is an unusually specific application of mechanical complications to sport.
