Patek Philippe Celestial 6105G adds sunrise and sunset indications

The Celestial reference 6105G-001 expands Patek Philippe’s astronomical watchmaking with indications for sunrise and sunset. Its sapphire dial maps the sky visible from Geneva and other locations at the same latitude, alongside the Moon’s phases and orbit.
Astronomy in a new case
A 47 mm white gold case takes its visual cues from space modules, with polished and sandblasted surfaces. Inside, self-winding calibre 240 C LU CL LCSO includes a system for correcting the time and the solar indications when switching between summer and winter time.
Patek Philippe reports more than five years of development and six patent applications. The black composite strap and strongly structured case give this Celestial a different character from the manufacture’s more traditional astronomical watches.
