Rolex Datejust 41 introduces a green lacquer ombré dial
Rolex adds a green lacquer ombré dial to the white Rolesor Datejust 41 for 2026. The new version combines Oystersteel with white gold and a fluted bezel, giving a familiar watch a noticeably different face.
How the gradient is created
The dial receives a green lacquer base, followed by black lacquer sprayed in concentric motions to form the darker outer edge. Rolex describes this as its first fully lacquered ombré dial since the design returned to the catalogue in 2019.
The contrast around the edge also draws attention to the date display. Calibre 3235 and the Oyster bracelet complete the configuration. For readers following the latest Datejust variations, the dial treatment is the defining feature of this release.
